Students helping students.

We sell fresh local greens and give used books and clothes a second life. Every dollar of profit goes to laptops, textbooks and school supplies for students who need them.

Founded in 2026 by Newark Academy high school students and run by them day to day, under a board of trustees that includes an independent trustee.

Two programs, one mission

Green4Grads

Farm-fresh vegetables from a local family farm, plus used school books and gently-used clothes — sold at our Saturday market stall. Unsold produce goes to local community meal programs or other nonprofit organizations; nothing is wasted.

Debate4All

Debate, public speaking and civic skills for young people — taught by students, for students, so that confidence in a room never depends on what a family can afford.

Where a gift goes

Every program feeds one fund, and the fund has one purpose: the educational needs of students from families facing hardship.

  1. You give

At the stall, by check or by Zelle. Books and clothes count too.

  2. Proceeds enter the Fund

Operating costs are covered by our families, so profit passes through whole.

  3. Counselors nominate

School counselors identify students in need. We never choose recipients ourselves.

  4. The board approves

Adult trustees review each grant under a written conflict-of-interest policy.

  5. A student gets what they need

A laptop, textbooks, supplies. Recipients stay anonymous.

Completely student-run

Students plan the stall, pick up the produce, sort the books, run the sales and keep the records. Adults serve as trustees — approving grants and signing what the law requires — and otherwise stay out of the way.

We publish a simple annual report every year: what we sold, what we donated, and how many students we helped.
